Sorry, it’s been so long. Let’s do an update, shall we?
Whispered Secrets has not come out yet. Life as we all know has a funny way of just not adhering to a schedule. Work has been very busy and this past week, I lost my uncle who I had just over the past year reconnected with. I went to the funeral and got to see family I hadn’t seen in years. It was a reminder that we only have one life to live and we shouldn’t take it for granted. We definitely shouldn’t spend it doing something we don’t love.
Or spending it on things that make us unhappy or bring us down. I know it’s kind of a downer and I’m sorry for that, I was just there surrounded by familiar faces that had grown and aged and I realized something. It’s only April and I have spent so many hours working, when I could have used some of that time to write, make swag, go see family, go outside, do so many other things. It just made me think is all.
Okay, moving on from that update, haha. It’s already April?! This year is really flying by, next month is Capital City Author Event, so this weekend, I’m budgeting out the rest of the year, making and ordering swag for next months event. I’ll be trying to finish up pre-orders and Whispered Secrets!! So, it’s going to be a big weekend for me.
