I haven’t been able to do anything book related for a while and I miss it. I miss watching my words come to life as I write them down. I miss my characters. I miss being as involved in the book world as I was. I hope that after the first of the year I’ll be able to bring a few more books to life for you, before I have to go on a bit of a hiatus.
I recently got in some new special swag for those who purchase signed books from me on my website or through me and as I was looking at it, I got a little sad. Not because I didn’t like the items that arrived, I LOVE them, but because I don’t have a new cover to share and design new cool swag items. I love seeing readers with my bookmarks, pens, keychains, etc. I’m proud of what I’ve put out, it’s just been a while since I’ve been able to update my goodies with new stuff from me. Soon enough I will though…
Moving on. How have you all been? How are you handling the rising cases of COVID? There are places that I have to go, but I’m always careful, wearing a mask and being respectful of people’s space, but I still worry about it. I think we all do, to some degree or another.
One good thing, people are picking up new hobbies. A hobby I still have not picked up, cooking. Hahaha. Something I have enjoyed doing and have been doing now for a few months, is a walk six days a week. It’s never shorter than a mile and tomorrow I’m upping my walking game to four miles. It gives me a little bit of time away from my screen and out of my house. What sort of hobbies have you picked up?
